Membership

We are a registered charity and rely heavily upon the donations for rehomed Boxers, and fundraising events organised by the committee and supporters, such as fun dog shows, raffles, tombola's, stalls, sponsored events etc. Membership subscriptions play a major role in our funding and we are always delighted to welcome new members. It is one way, as a Boxer lover, that you can surely help the breed that you love. We produce an annual Newslink magazine and regular eNewsletters for our members giving you details of forthcoming events, informative articles on the breed and stories about the boxers you have helped to re-home or the ones that are still looking. A lot of members and supporters use our Facebook group to share their Boxer experiences, and generally socialise with like minded people. Please use the link below to join us ! HCBW Facebook Group Membership subscriptions helps us cover the costs of vet bills, kenneling fees, telephone bills and petrol - all the costs to run the charity. Volunteering

A lot of members and supporters help each other as a Boxer community and share their experiences on our Facebook Group Pages. Please join the community, socialise with like-minded people, attend our events and share stories and posts about Boxers looking for homes.
As a charity we operate via the help of volunteers. Our Committee Members and Trustees could not carry out all the tasks required alone and are grateful for the support of a network of volunteer helpers that support us with transport, behavioural assessments, home-checks and helping and supporting us at our fundraising events. Sponsorship Scheme

HCBW help with veterinary fees for older dogs, 8+ years, and dogs that come to us with specific medical needs. The adopting family make a £20 monthly donation and we cover veterinary fees* over £50**. To do this we rely on Sponsorship.
Please consider sponsoring our oldies, you can do this for yourself or as a present for a Boxer Lover for their Birthday or Christmas. Maybe you cannot have a dog yourself right now but would love to help a dog in need. Every penny really does help, you do not need to send a specific amount, and you can do this monthly or as a one-off payment, it’s entirely up to you! Fostering a Boxer
Sometimes when a dog cannot stay in its own home before being re-homed we may need to take a dog into our care and sometimes it is not the best option for them to go into kennels, if they are very old, very young, do not do well in kennels or need a little extra medical support. In these circumstances where we cannot use kennels we rely upon a very small number of volunteer foster homes and we could always do with more!
If you can provide short term or long term foster for dogs that are not yet ready for adoption or cannot stay in kennels then please contact us!

Used Postage Stamps
If you have any unwanted, used postage Stamps from the UK and Overseas, please send them to us and we can turn them into cash for HCBW. When removing the stamps from the envelopes please include a margin of envelope and do not cut or tear to close to the stamp itself. It's the way the buyers want them.
