Denzel is a lovely sweet boy. He is friendly with everyone and loves a snuggle on the sofa. He can be excitable, but with the right calm leadership he settles and can relax.
He will need a home where someone is around most of the time, and can work on his separation anxiety. A calm home that is fairly quiet with not too much going on so that he can learn to relax and relinquish responsibility. He will chase cats. He can travel in the car - he is anxious to start and will then settle. He is ok on the lead, he can pull but is correctable, he will need work on his recall. He's been good with meeting other dogs in the vet reception, and he's been great with strangers, and with kids (although maybe a little cautious sometimes), and he's been good at the cafe. He can get overwhelmed with too much too soon, but if you take things slowly and respect his boundaries, he is fine. He is a very sensitive boy and will react to the situation he is in, he can be a handful at times but with a confident, patient handler and with clear, consistent guidance, and boundaries, he is quite happy to follow.
