If you wish to be considered for a rescue Boxer, initially you will be asked many questions. This is usually followed by a home visit by one of our representatives. They will complete a questionnaire with you, this is then passed on to the Secretary/Co-Ordinator

It is not necessarily first come first served, all the facts have to be considered and we will try to match the right dog(s) with the right people. As and when a suitable Boxer comes on to the books will we then make arrangements for the introduction.

No papers are passed on with a rescue Boxer, only a vaccination certificate if available. We will give you as much information as possible with regard to health habits, likes, dislikes, degree of training and diet. We will tell you all we know about the dog but, remember we do not know EVERYTHING and therefore cannot GUARANTEE ANYTHING. We keep an interest in the dog and its welfare for life. Should the new owners circumstances change, then the dog must be returned to HCBW.

All Boxers are rehomed purely as companions, not to be kept in a kennel or used as guard dogs, and may not under any circumstances be bred from.

We do not buy and sell Boxers nor act as agents for anyone that does. We exist entirely on donations and various fund raising events. At the time of adoption, new owners are asked to make a realistic donation.

Please make your initial enquiry to Ann Podmore by telephone: 01525 240288.
