Churchill  1 year old white deaf boy, castrated. I've been in kennels for five months now and would love a place to call my own.  Yes, I have some problems, I'm deaf and also have several hangups (like Boxers do) but with an experienced owner I will try my very best to please them.  Preferably to be on my own and no children.

  Very Urgent
Please, please can you help me.
My name is Leon, I'm in desperate need of a new family through no fault of my own.  Circumstances have changed in my household.  I'm 2 1/2 years old, white, deaf.  Unfortunately I only have one eye as one had to be removed due to an ulcer infection.  I'm good with children (nine and five), I don't know about cats.  I'm quite sociable with other dogs.  If you can help please contact
Contact Marion Veazey Tel: 01763 243620 e-mail: Marion & Don for more information. If emailing, please leave a contact telephone number.

Farley  is 3 years old, white with a brindle patch over her ear and a docked tail.  She is not spayed.  Farley is living with another boxer at present however is not dog friendly out of the house so would be suitable as an only dog.  She dislikes cats.  She is strong on the lead and walks better on a harness.  Farley can be a dominant dog and will need an experienced boxer owner who will be willing to undertake training with her. She is well behaved and will respond well to training. She has lived with children but we feel she would be better to be rehomed with older teenagers.  She is not destructive and can be left for short periods in the house. she is housetrained  She loves her toys and to play.  Farley had an operation on her leg and can be stiff on this leg if over exercised. She will be returning to the vets this week and should she need any medication this will be supplied. Farley is insured with Petplan and it would be preferable if her new owners were prepared to continue with this in order for any problems that occur with her leg to be covered. She is a sweet loving dog and loves affection.

Tizer  Tizer is 2. he came into rescue as his owner was having a baby and he wasn't getting the excercise a boy of his size needs. he is a typical bouncy boxer. he is responding well in kennels having regular walks.  Tizer can be dominant and he cannot be rehomed with children.  He is fine with dogs, but gets on better with submissive females.  At this stage he hasn't been cat tested. he would suit an active owner.  He is castrated and up to date with  vaccinations and worming.  Tizer isn't destructive and can be left for short periods, he will need a firm ,experienced boxer owner.

MILO'S APPEAL
We are very sad to have to tell you that after all the loving care he has received recently, MILO
suddenly took a turn for the worse and has had to be gently put to sleep, with a suspected brain tumour, to save him further suffering.  Jenny is devastated and Clay is also mourning him.
We would like to offer our most grateful thanks to all of you who have donated so generously towards Milo's care.  Rest assured that any funds remaining from his appeal will be put towards the care of other Boxers in need, and there are still too many of them.

He was a 9 year old Boxer who came into our care after his owner died suddenly.  He had only been with her for a couple of months after she rescued him herself.   He had had at least five homes and been severely neglected, and had numerous health problems.
An assessment at the Wood Veterinary Group Animal Hospital revealed that he had a heart murmur, bilateral perineal ruptures and inflammatory bowel disease, which resulted in a very poor skin condition.   We were hoping to have the ruptures repaired surgically, but unfortunately further tests on Milo's heart revealed that he was unlikely to survive an anaesthetic, so we were just having to treat what we could to get his general health back on track.  (Our wonderful friend, Jenny Cole, had him at home and he and Clay were getting on well.)
At the time of launching this appeal, Milo's vet bill had reached just over £800 and his treatment was ongoing, hence the reason for us launching the appeal, to ensure we could carry on giving Milo the treatment he required and most importantly, deserved.
At least his passing was dignified and he was in the best possible hands.
PLEASE SUPPORT US - THANK YOU.

Thankfully, you might now like to read some success stories:

Bailey - Five month red and white little girl with a long tail.  One of her ears had been cut off and she was suffering from demodectic mange.  Another wonderful lady, Louise, took her into her home and bathed her weekly. (Some of you may have seen her at Duke's Companion Dog Show on 21st September).  She had a spot on temperament - despite what she must have endured in her short life, but was quite vocal.
Fantastic news - she has been rehomed and is now living with Cassie the 10 year old we homed a short while ago.
