 CONDITIONS OF ADOPTION

1.         Should it become necessary to part with the dog/bitch for any reason, BEFORE any action is
             taken notify the Secretary/Co-ordinator.

2.         After adoption, the new owner will be contacted by a representative from HOME COUNTIES
            BOXER
WELFARE with the object of (a) ensuring that the dog is happily settled, and (b) to assist
            with any problems that may have arisen.

3.         The new owner must make sure that their name and address is permanently engraved on the
             Boxer's collar, or on the disc attached thereto.  (Or the dog should be microchipped by a
             veterinary surgeon).

4.         Should the dog become lost or missing the new owner must notify the Police and HOME
            COUNTIES
BOXER WELFARE IMMEDIATELY.

5.         The new owner must provide qualified veterinary treatment in cases of injury or illness.

6.         Under no circumstances may Rescued Boxers be used for breeding purposes.

7.         HOME COUNTIES BOXER WELFARE cannot be held responsible for any damage or costs
            whatsoever in connection with the dog after it has been adopted.

8.         At the time of adoption, new owners are asked to make a generous donation to our Charity which is
            wholly supported by voluntary contributions and administered entirely by voluntary helpers.  (We
            hope that you will become a regular member, whereupon you will then receive up-dated
            information on our work, through the medium of our twice-yearly Newsletter and our website
            www.hcbw.org.uk).

9.         New owners must undertake as follows:

                        (a)            Not allow the dog to be used in experimentation or stage purposes of any nature

                        (b)            Feed and house the dog to the Charity's satisfaction.

                        (c)             Exercise the dog regularly and keep his boosters up to date.

 

HOME COUNTIES BOXER WELFARE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY DOG
CONSIDERED TO BE UNSUITABLY PLACED

NB:- Our registered Charity, together with its associated helpers, is always willing to assist new owners
with any problems that may arise concerning their adopted dog.

Donations cannot be refunded.
